We did it! Enough folks turned up for our neighbourhood that we formalized the Southdale Residents Group and elected our first Board of Directors!
Our board consists of: Kevin Dickson, chair; Karine Drobko, vice chair; Tom McCarthy, treasurer; Cindy Little, secretary; Miriam Robern, communications director; Salem Woodrow, member-at-large; Ronald Kerr, member-at-large. Also pictured, John Mooibroek.
We’re going to get to right work on a lot of things: we’ve got a constitution to finalize, administrative details to iron out, contacts to make in the wider community, and some events to plan in the near future. Watch this space for updates, and we hope to see you all around the neighbourhood!
