Our first Community Clean Up was a rousing success! We had almost 100 residents show up for the community, collecting over 30 bags of litter and trash… along with a few curious items, like a very corroded bumper from an old truck as well as a whole fish!
Thanks to the McDonalds on Vermillion and the Tim Hortons on Beaverhill, we were well-supplied with coffee, hot chocolate, and a small mountain of pastries. A number of local businesses also pitched in prizes for our raffle draw!
